Regis Le Bris – Sunderland
Credit in the bank is a big thing in the Premier League, and it looks as though Regis Le Bris has time on his side at Sunderland.
Sky Sports’ Keith Downie reported on Monday that the Black Cats manager’s job is currently safe. That said, there’s no getting away from their form.
Sunderland sit bottom of the league and are also playing absolutely awfully. Shock horror, Leeds drew against them in a 0-0 stalemate.
Last time out, they were well beaten by a Coventry City side many are assuming will be down there, come May.
Le Bris may have credit with the Sunderland hierarchy after two historic campaigns, and that’s completely fair. Although if they don’t lift themselves off the foot of the table soon, there’s no way the Frenchman’s position isn’t scrutinised more.
