Leeds United midfielder Anton Stach has teased a huge injury boost ahead of our trip to Sunderland.
United make the trip up to the Stadium of Light this afternoon hoping to get back to winning ways after two points in the last three games.
Sunderland, meanwhile, find themselves bottom of the table after seven games.
Anton Stach drops major Leeds United injury update vs Sunderland
Daniel Farke’s pre-match press conference revealed a pretty bleak injury crisis for today’s clash with the Black Cats.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach and Noah Okafor were all labelled as major doubts. The former pair were struggling with foot injuries while Okafor is carrying a muscular problem.
However, Stach has teased his availability for today with his typically hilarious Instagram story. For this game, he’s gone for a Batman theme as he all but confirms that he’s part of the matchday squad:

As a result, it looks as though Stach has shaken off the foot issue since Friday, having missed training.
Anton Stach must start vs Sunderland as Leeds United look for three points
Stach has been really out of sorts this season, but no player puts in a shift like he does.
There’s scope for him to be dropped based on his current performances, but the work he gets through out of possession is vital. I don’t think we can afford to drop him.
Against Sunderland’s very good midfield, Stach’s legs and defensive work is going to be necessary. Drop him and you’re significantly weaker in that regard.
Now he’s confirmed he’s fit, I’d imagine he will be starting.
Dinner dinner, dinner dinner, dinner dinner, Stach Man!
