Leeds United were victorious against Spurs thanks to a stunning goal from substitute Noah Okafor, racing past the opposition defence to score.
United go into the international break with renewed confidence and optimism after ending a five-game winless run against Spurs.
It was another cagey, scrappy affair for Daniel Farke’s side, but we finally came out on top as Noah Okafor fired in the game’s only goal.
Spotted: Archie Gray’s woeful defending in Leeds United’s winner from Noah Okafor
Okafor’s drive from the bench was a huge factor in Leeds breaking the deadlock after knocking on the door for large portions of the second half.
Latching onto a deflected touch from Harry Wilson and Rodrigo Bentancur, Okafor drove inside past the Uruguayan midfielder’s limp challenge before lashing past Antonin Kinsky.
However, what Spurs fans were quick to notice was Archie Gray’s ‘contribution’ to the goal.
As Melvin Bard throws the ball towards Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Gray is holding Okafor tight. By the time Okafor gets his shot away, there’s a good 15 yards of separation between the two.

Gray has not covered himself in glory whatsoever in failing to track Okafor’s run. And it’s ultimately proven costly, with his former club taking all three points.
Noah Okafor makes Leeds United a better team in the final third
It’s hardly a coincidence that Okafor comes back into the side and we instantly look better in the final third. He’s absolutely vital to how we create chances, and that goal showed it.
Okafor is the main one who shows drive and confidence on the ball, as well as the power to get past his marker with ease. And then the finish is emphatic, superb stuff.
If Leeds are to brush aside these attacking concerns under Farke, keeping Okafor fit and as consistent as possible is one of the main objectives.
Then, getting Harry Wilson playing at his best level would turn us into a fearsome side going into the winter months.
