Leeds United youngster Amari Miller is reportedly subject to loan interest from elsewhere this month as the club look to be busy in sanctioning temporary exits for youth players.
Despite doing plenty of work in the summer to boost the starting prospects of youth players by securing loans, there are a host of players in the under-21s squad that are in need of senior opportunities.
More work is needed to be done in order to get the right chances secured for certain youngsters that are unlikely to benefit much more from Premier League 2 football.
Amari Miller is one of the youth investments that was made by the club in the summer of 2021, and while he has been a regular in the under-21 side when fit and available, he could be in need of further opportunity.
With Alfie McCalmont and Leo Hjelde already leaving on loan and a handful set to join the pair out of the club this month, the former Birmingham City man could be next.
That’s according to the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Graham Smyth, who has revealed there is interest in the winger.
The specific whereabouts of Miller’s possible loan move for this season is unclear, but the report does outline that he is expected to join others in the EFL ladder.
Should Leeds sell Cresswell?
Yes
No
Miller hasn’t been as regular a presence in the starting lineup this season as he would have hoped, and perhaps a loan move is best.
If a club is able to offer him starts every week, then we are looking at a far greater chance for him to develop.
These moves might weaken the youth setup quite significantly, but we’re going to have a far stronger group of players coming back from their respective clubs when the season is over.
