Leeds United face West Ham United at the London Stadium on Monday night and both sides are having to contend with injury dilemmas in their starting lineups.

Leeds find themselves comfortably in mid-table while the Hammers are well in with a shout for a Champions League place this season.

Mateusz Klich’s fortunate penalty put the Whites on the right path back in December, but a frailty from set-pieces saw Tomas Soucek and Angelo Ogbonna power headers home to flip the game on its head.

The landscape has changed for both sides since then, with both sides now having a lot more to play for higher up the table.

Leeds will be without Robin Koch again as they were in the meeting at Elland Road, but will also be without Kalvin Phillips, while Rodrigo’s presence in the under-23s bodes well for Monday.

Meanwhile, West Ham are struggling with injury problems of their own with both their first and second choice goalkeepers a doubt for the game.

Lukasz Fabianski sat out in their defeat away to Manchester City while Darren Randolph stepped in, but he too felt some strain in his quad during the match.

The pair were doubtful for the game and David Moyes has delivered the latest in his pre-match press conference (via the club’s official website):

I think we’re pretty much as we were. Lukasz Fabianksi hasn’t trained yet but has got a chance to play. Darren Randolph’s got a problem with his hip and is doing some work in the gym. I’m hoping we’ll have one of them fit by Monday night.

It’s a big blow for the Hammers to potentially have both of their first-choice goalkeepers miss out, so they’ll be hopeful of at least one being fit.

Fabianski has been superb this season at West Ham and him missing out could be a great advantage for us.

He saved the initial penalty of Klich and was unlucky to be forced to retake it thanks to VAR deeming him to have encroached.

We’ve got it all to do to beat any team in London, based on our record, but especially with the form that West Ham are in.

Even if they don’t have either ‘keeper in goal, they’ve got a strong enough squad to cause us serious problems.
