Patrick Bamford has returned to Leeds United training as he steps up injury recovery.
The Whites have struggled with major injury setbacks since the start of the season, with Patrick Bamford one of the main concerns recently.
His ankle injury that he picked up during the draw away to Newcastle United has kept him out for seven league games.
Also looking to recover has been centre-back Robin Koch, who is rehabilitating after surgery on a pubis injury.
However, they have stepped up their recovery with work at Thorp Arch, as revealed by Leeds United on Instagram:
This could be massive for us this week.
We have been so much poorer in attack without our main focal point, and him returning will bring the best out of everyone else.
Hopefully, he picks up no further setbacks and the rest of his recovery is almost complete.
We can’t afford to have him out for any more time really with the pressure on for results.
Koch’s return is a great boost too with our squad having more depth in another key area once he’s ready to play.
