There was a winning start for Leeds United in the Premier League as they beat Wolves 2-1 at Elland Road.
Leeds were actually behind to Daniel Podence’s sixth minute goal, but goals in either half turned the game in Jesse Marsch’s favour.
Rodrigo struck on 24 minutes, before Rayan Ait-Nouri turned into his own goal under pressure from Brenden Aaronson on 74 minutes.
Jack Harrison was involved in the build-up to Rodrigo’s equaliser on a very good afternoon for Leeds’ new No.11.
He took to Instagram to issue his reaction to the result:
Quiz: Has Jack Harrison scored a Leeds United goal against these 15 clubs? Yes or No?
Harrison had a good day yesterday.
He was involved in the first and teed up a chance for Patrick Bamford at 2-1 that should’ve been converted.
The winger looks really lively and is fully buying into what Jesse Marsch wants.
Amid transfer speculation and Newcastle United’s bids for him, you can see how important he is to Marsch and he needs to be retained.
