Once again, Leeds’ best have been nominated for the PFA’s Player of the Month Award. This month we have the magnificent Luke Ayling and the ever-brilliant Pablo Hernandez amongst the nominations.

Luke Ayling has had a return to form this month after experiencing a difficult patch upon his return from injury in the new year. Playing with conviction and a visibly determined to prove criticisers wrong, he played an essential part in March’s relatively good run of form. Luke also played his part in, for me, March’s game of the month, the win at home to Milwall as he calmly converted Douglas’ whipped ball into the box with his head. Noggin.

Pablo too has been simply magnificent, but when is he not? Many Leeds fans will feel he was unfairly left out of both the Championship Team of the Year and Player of the Season, so this could be our chance to get one back for him. Pablo being Pablo though, has had a career that outshines these accolades and I’m sure he will still go about being truly excellent regardless. My guy.
