As with any title race, relegation dogfight or league in football, the key to success will always be consistency. Despite some minor blips in the road during September, the 1-0 win over West Brom on Tuesday Night gives Leeds a magnificent platform and put a string of good results together.

However, this is easier said than done, of course. Those around Leeds know this fact all to well, too. Let’s see who they’ve got this weekend:

West Brom vs Cardiff City: A tough fixture for West Brom against a Cardiff City side who fancy themselves this season but currently sit 8th with 16 points. However, with the home advantage and Cardiff’s tendency to sit on the back foot, West Brom will look to take the game to them and should have enough about them up top to force a win here.

Swansea City vs Stoke City: Stoke couldn’t buy a win if they were free at the minute. Swansea are fortunate to have them in the league this week and look set to go into the international break still top. Grr.

Nottingham Forest vs Brentford: After a rocky star to the season, Forest have managed to put together a respectable set of results, registering 3 wins in their last 4 games. They face an inconsistent Brentford side, who really should be doing quite a lot better. It’s Forests to lose…
