Tottenham and Manchester City both have an interest in Leeds United midfielder, Kalvin Phillips.

Leeds fans are currently watching on as their midfield ace represents England at Euro 2020, with Phillips featuring against both Croatia and Scotland in the opening two group games.

However, his performances and influence aren’t going under the radar.

A report from Tutto Juve over the last couple of days has revealed that Juventus have an interest in Phillips, who is reportedly valued at £25m.

That report goes on to list Real Madrid as another club keeping tabs on the 25-year-old, alongside Leeds’ top-flight rivals, Tottenham and Man City.

The England international excelled on the Premier League stage last season for Leeds, scoring once and assisting a further two goals in 29 appearances.

Gareth Southgate has made him an England regular on the back of that, with Phillips producing an assist and a Man of the Match performance against Croatia last weekend.

These are the types of rumours we are going to have to put up with for a long time. Of course there are going to be clubs looking at Phillips. He’s been phenomenal under Bielsa and as he grows on the international stage, why wouldn’t clubs like Tottenham and Man City be casting an eye over him.

However, despite that interest it is important that we don’t panic. It’s really hard to see Phillips leaving this summer, particularly for a fee of £25m. That’s just ridiculous, he’s worth double that.

There lies the issue for potential buyers when it comes to Phillips. What he’s worth to Leeds is probably more than what rivals are willing to pay, which is the reason you can believe that he will still be at Elland Road at the start of next season.

He’s clearly happy, Marcelo Bielsa is clearly happy with his performances and Leeds are heading in the right direction.
