According to reports in Spain, Valencia are interested in signing Samu Saiz, who is currently on loan at Getafe.

Samu joined Getafe in the January transfer window initially on loan, with the option for the Spanish club to sign him in the summer for around €6.5m. Unfortunately for Saiz, his time hasn’t exactly gone to plan in Spain so far. He’s made 8 appearances for Getafe and is a permanent feature on their bench. Getafe aren’t one of the richer clubs in Spain so they likely don’t have that sort of money lying around to spend on a squad player.

Valencia would be a good move for Samu, who apparently wants to continue in Spain even if Leeds do make it back to the Premier League. If Leeds are to be promoted, the fee for Samu becomes less of an issue, but it looks a certainty that he’ll be moving on for good come August.

Let us know what you think, would you give Samu another chance?
