In amongst all the chat across the length and breadth of social media, one of the dominant discussions right now is just how many points Leeds will need this season to get where they want. To tackle this the WACCOE.com user Reckoner has lovingly compiled an average, highest and lowest of all the positions in the Championship. They are as follows:

Further, Leeds are on 70 points with 10 games to go. The only particular milestone Leeds can’t hit here is Reading’s record 106 points total. To hit the average points total for 2nd, Leeds need approximately 1.7 points a game. To hit the average for 1st, 2.3 PPG.
To put this into perspective, we have currently achieved approximately 1.94 PPG.
I fear with the top 3 pulling away from the rest of the pack, the average points needed for the top 2 positions will be somewhat higher. We will endeavour to keep this page updated as the season continues. Keep check.
