Leeds United winger Raphinha is said to prefer a move to Chelsea over Arsenal or Tottenham this month.
The Whites are looking increasingly likely to lose their star winger Raphinha this summer.
After months of speculation linking him all over Europe, offers are now officially on the table for the Brazil international.
It was revealed on Tuesday night that Arsenal were the first club to make a move for Raphinha, with the Athletic reporting of their opening bid – which has been subsequently turned down.
They are not the only Premier League side eyeing up this move, with Tottenham reportedly plotting a £50million bid very soon.
Are Leeds right to reject this bid from Arsenal?
Yes
No
Chelsea have also joined the race, and after the Gunners’ first rejected bid, The Athletic have revealed that the Blues are high up on Raphinha’s list of desired moves.
Out of the candidates: Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Spurs, the La Liga giants are still the club Raphinha would most like to join.
However, Chelsea are his next preferred choice due to Champions League football as well as the better chance of winning major trophies than at either of the North London clubs.
That would be a tough one to take.
Chelsea are a better option than either of these sides, but I’m sure most Leeds fans would hate the thought of seeing him turn out in a Chelsea kit at Elland Road.
It’s not quite Ferdinand levels, but Raphinha to Chelsea would see a lot of fans turn their backs on him.
We want what’s best for him, but this isn’t the signing that we want to see happen at all.
