After a false start to the season’s resumption last week, Leeds will be desperate to put things right this afternoon, as they host Fulham at Elland Road in a huge game at the top of the Championship table.

Following Brentford’s win over league leaders West Brom on Friday night, the third-placed Bees are now just five points behind Leeds in the race for a top-two spot.

Fulham meanwhile, would move to within four points of Leeds in the race for promotion with victory at Elland Road, meaning this is not a game the Whites can afford to lose if they want to keep the pressure off in their pursuit of a long-awaited return to the Premier League.

By contrast, a win for Marcelo Bielsa’s side would give their promotion hopes a major boost, and the Leeds boss has named an unchanged from the one that lost at Cardiff, while Pablo Hernandez returns from injury with a place on the bench.

Taking to Twitter to react to that team news, plenty of Leeds fans were keen to stress the importance of picking up the win, with the return of Hernandez to the matchday squad a particular talking point.

Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.
