In news emerging from Turkish Media outlet ntvspor, the Trabzonspor President has spoken out on his club’s prospects of making their transfer of Caleb Ekuban permanent this summer. Ahmet Agaoglu claims that they have a clause in the loan that allows them to sign Ekuban for 1 Million Euros, and that “we are going to use it”.

However, Agaoglu also admits that Leeds could offer them 10 million Euros not to use it, ‘then we will think about that’. Ekuban has been well involved in the Trabzonspor set up playing 21 times and scoring on 4 of those occasions.

Leeds signed Caleb in Summer 2017 from Chievo Verona for an undisclosed fee. He found appearances hard to come by at Elland Road and amassed just 20 outings in the Leeds shirt, he did however score his first league goal for Leeds in March of last year against Bolton.

He was unfortunate to not make the cut into Marcelo Bielsa’s plans this summer and as a result was not given a squad number going into this campaign.

Ekuban has revently embarked upon an international career, also. Making himself available for the Ghana national side, he has so far made 2 appearances.
