The 4-0 win over Birmingham was Brian McDermott’s 20th competitive game as Leeds boss. Andrew Dalton (@lufcstats) has put together some stats from those games.

This season it has been played 15 won 7 lost 6 drew 2 scored 19 conceded 17, so in total played 20 won 10 lost 8 drew 2, scored 25 and conceded 22.! 50% Win ratio is not bad going!

His highest victory was the impressive 4-0 win over Birmingham last Sunday live on television

His worst victory was the 3-1 defeat at Derby 3 weeks ago. We haven’t been beaten by more then 2 goals under McDermott.

Finally he has picked Stephen Warnock, Lee Petlier, Paul Green and Rudy Austin as captains in these 20 games.

    I was looking at our 1973-74 title winning results a couple of days ago and if we hadn’t have come good winning our last three we would have blown it even with that great side . 13 games from the end we had a 10 game spell of W 2. D 4. L 4. I mention this to calm down the looneys who are already calling for B Mc D to go . In the circumstances we find ourselves he must be given at least a second full season .
