Image for Spotted: Joel Robles potentially reveals Leeds United squad number

Leeds United goalkeeper Joel Robles has shared a glimpse of him hard at work in training at Thorp Arch.

The Whites have a new signing in the building this week with goalkeeper Joel Robles joining the club on a one-year deal following his release from Real Betis.

He will be looking to make an instant impact on the training ground by imparting his experience on young stoppers Illan Meslier and Kristoffer Kleasson.

Robles took to Twitter to share a first look at him in the colours of Leeds United, as he was working hard at Thorp Arch:

It may be tough to make out from that image, but Robles is donning a squad number here, and it appears to be the vacated number 22, which Jack Harrison previously owned.

Are you happy with Robles’ signing?

Squad player.

Robles won’t be arriving at Leeds thinking he’s going to be part of the starting lineup anytime soon, with Meslier getting off to the best start he could.

However, his impact will be there to see even if he makes just one outing for us this season, knowing what he can share with our two young ‘keepers.

Hopefully, he’s already made himself well acquainted, and former (now current) teammate Junior Firpo has made him feel at home.
