Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani may have suggested the club are looking at a move to sign PSV’s Cody Gakpo.

The Whites have just two days to complete any business they need to before the deadline shuts, and with Rodrigo’s shoulder injury, there is pressure to get another forward through.

PSV winger Cody Gakpo has been linked to Leeds frequently this window, with The Athletic’s David Ornstein claiming the club have been “strongly” in for him.

Having seen his club miss out on Champions League football to Rangers, there is a chance he could be set to leave the Eredivisie this week, with plenty of Premier League clubs also joining Leeds.

Now, owner Andrea Radrizzani has dropped a big hint pertaining to Leeds’ pursuit of the Dutch international, liking a tweet about Leeds’ interest in signing him:

This would be some coup to pull off in the final stages of the window.

Gakpo looks like the sort of forward we need, knowing he can play anywhere across the front while adding goals and creativity to our game.

With how Luis Sinisterra is taking to the Premier League, it does look like the jump from the Dutch top flight to the English is not going to be the issue.

I just wonder how much we would have to pay if Gakpo is available to sign, because it will definitely be a transfer record for us.
