Leeds United forward Sonny Perkins has reacted to Birmingham City midfielder George Hall scoring his first senior goal, as the club look to sign him.
The Whites have done well to bring in Sonny Perkins and Darko Gyabi from West Ham and Manchester City respectively this summer, but there is more business being planned for the under-21s.
Football Insider reported this week that Leeds had seen a £3million bid for Birmingham City starlet George Hall turned down by the Championship club.
Alongside that, the teenager scored his first senior goal as he netted in their 1-1 draw at home to Watford on Tuesday night.

As he posted on Instagram to share his delight at getting off the mark, Leeds’ Sonny Perkins replied in his comments:
Hall is enjoying life in the Birmingham first-team and I think it would take a lot to prise him out of St Andrew’s this month.
The lure of Premier League football could play into our hands here, but it’s a tough deal to convince him of when he’s going to be playing week in, week out there.
I do hope we go back in with another bid for him though, because he’s another that definitely has the potential to break through into our senior setup.
The Blues have a brilliant academy setup and you just wonder whether they are willing to let these sorts of players go easily.
