Samu Sáiz is set to have a medical in Leeds tomorrow according to Spanish media after Leeds offered a higher transfer fee and higher wages than some La Liga clubs, the main rival being Eibar. The transfer fee is said to be around £3.5m. This is a very exciting signing in many ways, one because he seems like the next Messi on Youtube as you can watch here – and also because it seems as though Leeds are back in a big way. For so many previous years we would have had no chance with this transfer but thanks to Radrizzani we’re back in business, long may it continue.

It would be another great capture and if as reported Taylor goes to Burnley there will be incoming funds as well.
We need to really turn attention to the central defence where presently we will only have Copper for the first two games and a really good start is imperative. Personally I think we need two additions in that area.
Will Howson return and Bartley also? My feeling is not but you never know in football.
Christiansen will have a better idea about the squad in a few days time as decisions will have to be taken on a number of players who may be surplus to requirements. Having said that why would you dump Murphy and Diagoraga last season in favour of Grimes?
