Leeds United have confirmed the return to training of Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips.
Having been ruled out until March initially with hamstring injuries, both Cooper and Phillips have been waiting patiently to help Leeds climb out of their current injury hole.
A two-week break has arguably come at the best time for the Whites with players now set to return to the squad soon.
The club have now shown that the duo are closing in on a comeback by revealing on Twitter that they are back in training:

Massive news.
Cooper and Phillips have been huge misses for plenty of reasons, and to have them back will give a lot of fans a lot to be positive about.
We can all bemoan the lack of activity in the window just gone, but to have these players back is a huge boost that no signing could replicate.
Many might see Cooper as someone who shouldn’t start but his consistency at the back was a real reason why our defence looked reasonably solid, then we flooded goals after his Brentford setback.
Phillips’ return needs no explanation as to why that is huge for us.
