Thomas Christiansen has today confirmed that Dallas will be returning to the squad to face Ipswich tomorrow. Which is some light relief in the wake of the news that De Bock won’t be there as well as Vieira. The play of Leeds’ wide players has been mixed to be kind and poor to be honest. Cibicki has shown very small glimpses and Alioski is more up and down than a yo-yo.
The directness of Stuart Dallas has been missed and if he’s fit enough I would start him tomorrow. We need someone to get at the fullbacks and actually deliver a good ball, too often we get the ball into a good position around the box and waste it. Leeds will be up against it tomorrow, with two of our best players out and without our new signing. Dallas is better both going forward and defensively than Cibicki so it seems stupid not to start him.
I can’t imagine it’s going to be the prettiest game in the world tomorrow, so I’d like to see Lasogga start upfront to get on the end of any crosses from Dallas. As an added bonus, Dallas scored last time we played in Ipswich.
Who do you think should start out wide for Leeds tomorrow? Let us know!
