Leeds United-linked midfielder George Hall has reportedly been offered a professional contract by current club Birmingham City.

Marcelo Bielsa has proven this season that there is plenty of scope for the current crop of Leeds youngsters to make their way into his first-team setup.

With that, will come the chance for Leeds to continue investing in talent to make their way into the under-23s.

Birmingham City youngster George Hall is name that has surfaced this week in regards to a potential swoop from Elland Road.

The Daily Mail have reported that the England youth midfielder is attracting interest from the Whites, with the Blues keen to tie him down to a professional deal.

His England under-18s debut this week has proven recognition for his talents extends beyond the Midland’s club, and they could be moving to ensure he stays with them for the foreseeable future.

Football Insider are now claiming that an offer has been submitted to Hall for him to pen that professional contract, as their stance on a transfer away remains the same: he’s not leaving unless it’s a substantial offer.

The Blues are obviously seeing a good crop of youngsters emerge right now, with Jude Bellingham and Amari Miller two names that will certainly be familiar.

The lure of potential Premier League football could help us secure this deal.

However, the fact that Lee Bowyer has done well to blood youth in his Birmingham side means he’s likely to have a good pathway regardless of where he plays.

If anyone is to give him a great opportunity for development, Bielsa is the man though.

He’s definitely one to keep an eye on, because a professional deal might not end the saga, but just secure Hall’s value as an asset for the Blues.
