After the recent international break it’s back to club football and Garry Monk’s Leeds face Reading in the evening Championship kick-off tonight as they bid to further enhance their Play-Off place with a result at the Madejski Stadium.

Looking back on recent fixtures between the two sides after four straight defeats between December 2011 and March 2014 Leeds have won three out of the last five fixtures including an away win back in 2015. The game saw Leeds take a 2-0 victory back to Elland Road thanks to a wonder goal from Luke Murphy and a late second from Sam Byram, it came at a time when Leeds were battling to get away from the threat of relegation.

Leeds will be hoping to complete a league double over Reading after beating them 2-0 in the home game back in December where Chris Wood and Souleymane Doukara scored for Garry Monk’s men.

We’ve also compiled a video of some of our recent goals against The Royals, including a Rob Hulse double from 2005 as well as goals from our home 2-0 victory earlier in the season. The video is below, don’t forget to like, share and subscribe.
