Barcelona have submitted a fresh bid to Leeds United for the service of Raphinha, although it still falls short of the club’s demands that have been met by Chelsea.

Leeds have reportedly reached an agreement with Chelsea for the service of Raphinha in a deal worth around £60m.

However, the personal terms are yet to be agreed between the parties and Barcelona are refusing to go away, despite their obvious shortage of funds to close a deal at the moment.

As per Fabrizio Romano, there’s been a fresh Barcelona offer for Raphinha after talks with his agent, Deco.

However, it’s noted that their ”verbal proposal” does not match what Leeds want.

Further to that, there are claims that Leeds are “respecting” the agreement they’ve struck with Chelsea for Raphinha, who is keeping his options open.

The 25-year-old has scored 17 goals and registered 12 assists across two seasons in England.

It’s really starting to sense like Raphinha and Deco are holding out for Barcelona here.

Chelsea have matched Leeds’ valuation and the ball is in their court to sort out the personal terms with the club. However, it appears that Raphinha is still being shopped around in Spain.

Even with a fresh offer (verbally) on the table, Barcelona aren’t matching Leeds’ valuation of Raphinha, which makes things even more irritating.

This is a deal that’s going to directly impact what else Leeds do this summer and it needs to be hurried up.

The consistent messing around isn’t helping anyone at all.
