With nine games of the season still to go, this looks like being a memorable one for Leeds United.

The Whites are currently top of the Championship table, seven points clear of third-placed Fulham, with just those handful of games still to be played at some point, as they look to end a long wait for Premier League football that goes all the way back to the 2003/04 season.

If Leeds are able to secure a place back in the top-flight for next season, then the club will surely be thankful for its use of the loan market over the course of the season.

Defender Ben White, attacking midfielders Helder Costa and Jack Harrison, and goalkeeper Illan Meslier, have all spent the entirety of the season on loan with Leeds.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah spent the first half of the campaign at Elland Road before recalled and replaced by Leipzig’s Jean-Kevin Augustin, although Jack Clarke’s temporary return after a permanent summer move to Tottenham saw him make just one, 19-minute league appearance before returning to North London at the turn of the year.

But which of those loanees has been the best performer for Leeds this season?

Here, we’ve taken a look at those six loanees to have featured more than once in the league for Leeds this season, and given them a ranking based on the average rating of their performances from WhoScored.com.
