The writers over at He and She Fitness have reported that the Leeds Owner, Andrea Radrizzani, has today hinted that all might not be so well in the negotiations to keep Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds for another season.
Speaking to talksport this morning, he has revealed “the next few days will be decisive with regards to Bielsa’s future, and the option to keep him runs to the end of the month.”
This comes after Bielsa and Orta were pictured in the city centre bar, Sky Lounge, seemingly discussing plans for the forthcoming transfer window. However, Radrizzani’s words here indicate that the deal is far from sealed.
As he says, Leeds do have an option to trigger a one year contract extension on his contract but it is widely believed that there is a gentleman’s agreement in place that if Marcelo wants to go, then he will be allowed to do so.
Many Leeds fans have sighted keeping Marcelo Bielsa as priority number one going into the next year of the Championship. The hope that he can build on the foundations from last season’s success is giving many a glimmer of optimism.
