It’s been a very quiet few weeks at Elland Road as Leeds are looking at a new manager to replace Garry Monk. Normally we get linked with anyone and everyone but it’s been almost the complete opposite under Andrea Radrizzani. There’s been no inkling of anyone being linked with the Elland Road vacancy which on one hand is refreshing to see, but on the other hand it’s very frustrating that we can’t get it sorted as soon as possible.

Radrizzani has recently Tweeted, giving fans an update on the situation and claiming how he understands the fans’ frustrations. Radrizzani has said that he is meeting with some candidates this week which also seems to suggest an appointment could well be made by the end of this week.

It’s nice to see that we’re not rushing although looking at the potential candidates it doesn’t seem like there’s many decent managers out there without a club. Could Leeds look at a man currently employed by another club? His Tweet does seem to hint towards that.

Let’s just hope the best man possible is brought to take this famous old club back to the big time ahead of its centenary year. Let us know your thoughts on the managerial situation in the comments section below.

  1. I think most of the ones on the bookies’ lists are good managers. Certainly Ranieri, Pardew, Karanka, Pearson. Then there’s the uknown, inexperienced at that level, Clotet. People would say cheap option if we take him. Then again they said that about O’Leary and he took us to the last four in Europe.
No hurry, more important that we get the right man. MOT

  2. I would love to Leeds United appoint Alan pedrow as Leeds boss or kranker or David moyes or Evan. Martin o neyal or Evan renaire.. These managers I think would do a bloody good job at Leeds United big names and big club… Then all we need then is big-name players then bring on the new season… Come on Leeds make us happy. And let us look forward to next season.

  3. Meeting candidates this week !!!! What’s he been doing since Monk left nearly two weeks ago ?
At this rate, the Coach will not arrive until pre-season training starts, in two or three weeks time.
Someone really needs to come in this week, otherwise Leeds will not be ready for the start of next season, as usual.
Can nobody at Leeds learn from the mistakes of last summer and the summer before ?

  4. How about that German manager who resigned from a successful season in the Bundeslig? That would be an interesting appointment I think.

  5. I think Gordon Strachan,he is a good manager and plays football the right way.
Saturday will be us last game as a Scotland manager if they lose.
