Not so long ago we were hoping to be playing the likes of Manchester United twice a season. We didn’t expect it to be in Australia, however. For a preseason game, it’s about as exciting as it can be. Bielsa left some of the bigger names back in England to enjoy the weather, so who’s likely to start on Wednesday?

GK – Kiko Casilla – Casilla played the full 90 against York whereas BPF only managed 45 against Guiseley which says a lot about how Bielsa views the situation. Kamil Miazek makes the trip as the backup keeper and I think we may be seeing a lot more of him this season.

RB – Stuart Dallas – Although the Derby game at Elland Road is a terrible, terrible memory. Dallas came out of that game looking brilliant and with Bielsa being a big fan, expect him to start against Man U.

CB – Gaetano Berardi – With Ben White back at Thorp Arch, Berardi is technically our 2nd CB. Which is slightly less than ideal but if he clatters into Dan James or Pogba I won’t mind.

CB – Liam Cooper – Captain Cooper was our best CB last season and despite his Derby meltdown, will only continue to get better under Bielsa.

LB – Barry Douglas – One of the things Leeds fans have most to look forward to this season is Barry Douglas with a full preseason behind him and Costa in the same team.

CDM – Kalvin Phillips – Thank God (Bielsa) that KP wasn’t left behind in England. We really didn’t need that drama. Make a few crunching tackles please boss.

CM – Adam Forshaw – With Klich back in England, Forshaw is likely to start in the number eight role. We need a big season from him.

CAM – Pablo Hernandez – With the arrival of Costa and the lack of Saiz, Pablo will be the man in the number 10 role this season. Look for him to work some magic on Wednesday.

RW – Jack Harrison – It’d be great to see Harrison on the right hand side, it feels like that would suit him a lot more so he can cut inside.

LW – Jordan Stevens – Due to the lack of wingers Leeds have in Australia, it seems as though Stevens is pencilled in to start and to be fair to him, he looked better than Clarke last week.

ST – Kemar Roofe – Roofe or Bamford will be an interesting one, but Roofe fits the system better so I’d expect him to get the nod.

Let us know who you’d start for the game against Man United!
