A solid 3 points to make it 4 in a row in a hard fought game. We do comebacks now too, which is good. Into the ratings…

Bailey Peacock-Farrell- Given a difficult task by his centre-backs for Wells’ goal and took control in a few nervy situations. Great save to deny Bidwell when QPR looked like they could equalise. 8/10

Jamie Shackleton- Quick, bright and ambitious start, looked to get forward and pose a threat immediately. Some nice overlaps. Hopefully we’ll see much more of him this season. 7/10

Kalvin Phillips- Played out of position again and unfortunately showed for QPR’s opener, got turned very easily. Again in the 76th a communication error almost led to things much worse. 5/10

Pontus Jansson- Bullishly committed himself on their first goal, leaving a wide space open. 6/10

Barry Douglas- Just doesn’t misplace a pass does he? Not asked to do much defensively but another secure performance. Can’t be said enough how it’s nice to have quality at left-back. 7/10

Adam Forshaw- Got beat off the ball easily a few times. Better in a defensive role than attacking. 5/10

Pablo Hernandez-Probably deserves the credit for Roofe’s goal, managed to find space and get the show away in a compact QPR area. Classic Pablo showing, played a big part in getting us back on track after going 1 down. 7/10

Samu Saiz- Came out the traps hungry, looked to get involved in several phases of play from the off. He can carry it but his out ball was still disappointing at times. Wonderful ball that gave Roofe a chance of a third. 7/10

Mateusz Klich- A quiet game for this season’s breakout star. Worked the space well a couple of times but equally could have been more safe in possession. Turned it up in the second half. Nice touch attempting a 20 yarder too. 6.5/10

Ezgjan Alioski- The story of this season has shown to be the importance of Alioski as the first line of defence. Offensively, not much to note. QPR played with most of their men behind the ball, making their area tight and compact. Would be a difficult day for anyone to find a cross or pass in the area. 6/10

Kemar Roofe- Deflected in Pablo’s effort for the first goal and slotted away the penalty with ease. As ever, is always in the right areas even if he doesn’t get so much of the ball. That’s 5 in 2 against QPR now. 8/10

*Aapo Halme- Brought on in response to QPR introducing Mathieu Smith. No real incidents, which is probably good news. 6/10

*Jack Clarke- Not much to report, great turn but did give away the free kick that gave them a chance at the death. How long until we can see him start? 6/10
