After being made to wait longer than most for a return to action, Pablo Hernandez finally got the chance to remind the Championship what he was all about on Saturday afternoon, and boy did he take it.
Having sat out Leeds’ 2-0 defeat at Cardiff last weekend due to injury, Hernandez was restored to the matchday squad for Saturday’s crucial top of the table clash with Fulham, with a place on the bench.
Then, with Leeds 1-0 up at half time, Bielsa elected to bring Hernandez back into the action, introducing the Spaniard in place of goalscorer Patrick Bamford, and what an impact the 35-year-old made.
Hernandez was key for Leeds in controlling the game during the second half, with his pass to set Harrison up for the win-clinching third goal of a 3-0 victory a particular standout, even by his own high standards.
As a result, it was no surprise to see plenty of Leeds fans pay some glowing tributes to Hernandez as they took to Twitter to react to that vital win in the race for promotion.
Here, we take a look at what some of those fans had to say about the mercurial Spaniard.
