Leeds United youngster Mateusz Bogusz sealed a loan move to UD Ibiza and is already settling in nicely in his new surroundings.
Leeds have a host of youngsters at the club that are crying out for senior exposure, whether that be at Elland Road, or on loan elsewhere.
One of those players is Polish youth international Mateusz Bogusz, who arrived from Ruch Chorzow back in the 2018/19 season with a lot of hype surrounding his name.
However, he’s only mustered a handful of appearances before he was shipped out to Logrones in 2020/21.
It wasn’t a fruitful loan for the midfielder and he has been sent out to Spain again the summer, this time to UD Ibiza, where he is to spend the 2021/22 season.
Wednesday saw him feature in a pre-season friendly against Al-Raed, where he scored this outrageous goal in a 2-0 win:
A player of great potential and quality, the fans were buzzing that he’s got off to a great start with his new club…
We all know he has the talent to one day become a first-team regular, but it hasn’t clicked just yet for him.
However, he’s still a teenager and has a lot of time before his contract is up, so there’s no need to rush him.
His pre-season goal compilation will be a thing of beauty by the time he retires though with stunners at Guiseley, Sydney, and now Ibiza.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on how he develops in Spain this time around, hopefully with more playing time on a regular basis.
