Wober hobbled out of Austria’s 4-1 win over Azerbaijan on only 34 minutes, with a hamstring issue bothering the Leeds defender.
As a result of that, Ralf Rangnick will be without Wober tonight against Estonia. A statement from Austria’s FA confirmed his return to Thorp Arch for assessment.
“Ralf Rangnick will have to do without Maximilian Wöber in the game against Estonia (27.03.), who sustained a muscle injury on the back of his thigh (left) against Azerbaijan. He will leave the team quarters in Windischgarsten tomorrow and return to his club.”
