It seems that Leeds United are taking an interest in Millwall winger Jed Wallace’s situation this month, and could have the chance to do a deal.

That’s after a report from The Sun claimed that the 27-year-old is pushing to leave the Championship club in the current transfer window.

With his contract expiring this summer, Wallace could leave Millwall for nothing at the end of this season.

However, it seems the winger is keen to leave before then, with this latest update claiming that he is pushing to complete a move this month.

That has attracted plenty of interest it seems, with Leeds, along with Premier League rivals Watford, said to be monitoring the situation around the 27-year-old.

Championship duo Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest, as well as Turkish giants Besiktas, are also thought to be keen on the attacker.

For their part, Millwall are reportedly keen to keep Wallace to try and secure him to a new contract, but those close to the player are said to believe a move will be secured before the current window closes.

This certainly feels like one to keep a close eye on for those of a Leeds United persuasion.

Wallace has shown throughout his time with Millwall that he is a quality player, with the potential to make a useful impact in the Premier League.

As a result, he could be a target worth considering for Leeds, especially now that his contract situation and personal preference could see him available on the cheap this month.

Given there current top-flight status, Leeds could be an appealing destination for Wallace as well, so this could be one worth pursuing for those in charge at Elland Road.
