Leeds United v Norwich City player ratings

|

That game literally couldn’t get more Leeds, a shocking start, gave us hope, all to let us down at the end.

Rob Green – 8 – Had no chance with any of the goals but made a few good saves, one of them was world class.

Into the defence…

Gaetano Berardi – 8 – We conceded three goals but none of them were to do with him, he cut out a key pass that would have taken the game away from Leeds. He was the only player on the pitch I didn’t doubt effort wise.

Kyle Bartley – 7 – Made a lot of key interceptions but not as solid as he would usually be, we were cut open often. Got his goal though.

Pontus Jansson – 6 – Not at his best for me, did too much a few times and it cost us.

Luke Ayling – 6 –
Didn’t pose a threat going forward, got into good positions and wasted it.

Into the midfield…

Eunan O’Kane – 7 – Not sure why he’s been away from the team for so long, he clearly should be starting the majority of our games, just ran out of steam today.

Ronaldo Vieira – 6 – Strong in the tackle but slack with passing and sometimes a little bit too calm, a great talent for the future though.

Pablo Hernandez – 7 – He gets a seven because of his wonderful goal, but he was woeful for the vast majority, slack passes and bad touches, poor.

Into the attack…

Stuart Dallas – 5 – Never stopped running but little end product and a lot of waste, we needed better.

Kemar Roofe – 5 – Never really in the game unfortunately, missed a decent chance too.

Chris Wood – 8 –
Did well with the service he had, took his goal too. Needs 1 more for 30 this season.

Overall I’m just devastated, hopefully Leeds do the right thing and bring back Monk.

Watch the highlights again. Check experienced DM O’Kane’s positioning (if you can see him!) for all 3 of their goals. Now do you understand?
