A week is a long time anywhere in the world but when it comes to a Leeds United summer, it’s a ridiculous length of time. So many rumours have circulated over the last week or so and to make it easier for you all, they’re all going to be included here in a handy, time-saving fashion.

Dean Henderson

Leeds have recently been linked with Manchester United 21-year-old keeper Henderson, most likely on loan. This news came after reports surfaced about Bailey Peacock-Farrell being the subject of a bid from Wolves. I’m not too sure why Leeds would want to sell our own young keeper and loan a different one, but Wolves do like throwing money around at the minute.

Marcelo Bielsa

The longest running negotiations of all time are reportedly coming to a close, with several reports that he’s now accepted the job and it should be announced in the next day or so.

Abel Hernandez

This has been going on almost as long as the Bielsa talks, but it seems like both moves could be completed at a similar time. There were claims that Leeds have offered the striker close to £40,000 a week, which is just unheard of at Elland Road.

Matěj Vydra

With Frank Lampard supposedly ready to let Vydra leave Pride Park, Leeds are looking at him as another option if the Hernandez move falls through. Vydra scored 22 goals last season for Derby but wouldn’t fit into our team as easily as Hernandez would.

Manchester City link

Due to Pep Guardiola’s relationship with Bielsa, there have been some noises from the Man City side that they would send a few players to Leeds next season to further their development such as Angus Gunn and Brahim Diaz. This would be a really good move, we’ve seen other clubs take advantage of loans from top Premier League clubs, it’s about time we did the same.

Make sure you keep an eye-out for any further transfer updates, it’s bound to be a busy summer even by Leeds’ standards.
