With the wealth of news here and there thrown around with transfers, it’s quite tricky to keep up. Here’s our round-up of the latest news with the incomings at Elland Road:

Elia Caprile: This is the one closest to the dotted line. A young keeper from Italy that’s highly rated over there. He was said to be undergoing a medical today and this one is all but confirmed. Though he’s not expected to feature in the matchday squad until Kiko Casilla’s ban is enforced.

Ian Poveda: Leeds were said to be frontrunners for the Man City winger, and it’s believed that the two clubs were going through the finer details of the deal. However, reports surfaced in the Italian media today that the player is also wanted by Torino. They say he was in Italy over the weekend. Man City are said to be wanting rid of him, with the player apparently unhappy at his demotion back to City’s U23s. Phil Hay said Leeds’ bid was “promising”.

Che Adams: Mixed messages is the name of the game. Saints’ manager Hassenhutl is adamant the player is staying at St. Mary’s. However, the rumours are that their board are willing to let the player go if they can recover the outlay they made for the player in Summer. This could apparently take the form of an initial £1 million and then an obligation to take the player at the end of the season. Adams is keen on the move and has been deliberating over whether or not to hand in a transfer request.

Kiko Casilla is a LIABILITY – get rid now and put in the youngster who is more accurate kicking out , more consistent in coming out to claim a ball in his area – and doesn’t go to sleep and watch balls go past him into the goal – WEEK AFTER WEEK!!!
