Leeds United have made an enquiry to Fiorentina about the availability of centre back Igor Julio this month.
That’s according to a report from Italian outlet Firenze Viola, who say that Brighton and Brentford have also looked into deals for the Brazilian.

Julio first joined Fiorentina on loan from another Italian side, SPAL, in the 2020 January transfer window, before making that deal permanent in the following year.
In total, the 24-year-old has made 88 appearances in all competitions for the club, and it seems he is now starting to attract interest from elsewhere.
According to this update, Leeds, Brentford and Brighton have all made enquiries about the possibility of bringing Julio to the Premier League this month.
However, there also appears to be interest from Spain, where Real Betis, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are all thought to be keen.
It is claimed Fiorentina value Julio at around £17.6million, and with 18 months left on his contract, plus the option to extend that deal by a further year, they are in a strong position to respond to any offers.

It would feel like something of a surprise if Leeds were to pursue a deal for Julio this month.
With Max Wober largely playing at centre back since his arrival this month, the Whites have more than enough options in that position.
As a result, it doesn’t really feel like it would be worth putting the sort of fee that Fiorentina could demand here, into this signing, when there are others areas that need prioritising more.
Even so, at 24, Julio could be one who is worth keeping an eye on for the future, especially given he has links with Red Bull, having previously turned out for RB Brasil and Salzburg.
