With no fixture for a week, Leeds United social teams have been able to take some respite and produce a couple of light-hearted pieces of content.
Leeds have had a good month or so and are four games unbeaten in the Premier League having beaten Norwich City, Wolves and Watford, as well as drawing with Southampton.
This week without a fixture, then, has given Leeds room to breath in the fight against relegation.
Over on Instagram, Leeds have stated that on the agenda in training this week is celebrations after Raphinha’s failed attempt at a knee slide at Watford, as well as Luke Ayling’s now infamous cartwheel against Wolves.
In addition to that, there was also footage of Illan Meslier’s mishap against Brentford:
It’s always good to see posts like this, it means Leeds are doing well!
Our view? Raphinha and Meslier got it wrong on the day with their celebrations, but we can’t take aim at Ayling’s efforts against Wolves.
Trying the Robbie Keane is something that every Leeds fan of a certain age will have attempted, probably with similar success to Ayling.
In the years to come, it’s a celebration that will continue to be iconic, even more so after Ayling brought it back on the Premier League stage.
