A good win for Leeds and could have definitely been more comfortable had Leeds retained a more comfortable lead. An important 3 points and task complete in building up that old points tally.

Kiko Casilla: Not a great lot of work to do today. Their headed goal was soft but that was largely the fault of Leeds’ set-piece defending that should have prevented a shot. 6/10.

Stuart Dallas: Another typical Dallas performance today, worked his side well. Really important in how Leeds progress the ball forward. 6.5/10.

Liam Cooper: Great from Cooper, solid defensive work ensured Blackburn were largely kept at bay. Went off injured around the 70th minute mark, the nature of that injury we shall see. 7/10.

Ben White: Another solid performance from White, with some excellent interceptions and bailed Leeds out on a few occasions with some assured tackling. Carried the ball forward quite often too. 8/10.

Luke Ayling: Given the nod at right-back today and put in a performance that met expectations. Should keep his place going forward. 6/10.

Kalvin Phillips: Got well involved in the physical battle and tended to stick a little deeper today. Won his duels and did well to keep control of the centre of the park, especially without the help of Forshaw. 7/10.

Mateusz Klich: Fairly simple game from Klich today. You often don’t notice a lot of what he does, and that could be said for today. But he’s an important cog in this machine. 6.5/10.

Jack Harrison: Harrison continued his good run and engaged the Blackburn defence well and created a number of 1v1 chances for himself. Good movement to earn himself the goal too. 8/10.

Helder Costa: Made some really nice carries today and a generally improved performance on recent weeks. Came off for Pablo in the 80th. 7/10.

Tyler Roberts: Given a show of confidence by Bielsa to keep him at the 10 today, despite Pablo being on the bench. Really did help Bamford and it was a difficult task against a locked Blackburn defence. This arrangement seems to be enjoying more success. His extra bit of pace and ball ability gives something a bit more to the Leeds forward process. 7/10.

Patrick Bamford: Golasssoooo. Albeit, a penalty. But definitely a good performance from Pat today. Worked well throughout the game and is always the one who is exemplary in exerting the press. Lovely set-up for Harrison’s goal too. Nice one, PB. 8/10.
