What a game that was, for a preseason friendly it was extremely good to watch. There were the usual frustrations that come with watching Leeds play, but all in all it was a great time.

Kiko Casilla – 7 – Didn’t really have too much to do, he could have bailed us out with the goal but it’s hard to blame him too much for that.

Stuart Dallas – 9 – Possible MOTM if not for a certain Spanish wizard, he was up and down the right all game long, didn’t get beat throughout the game and got forward well.

Gaetano Berardi – 7 – Decent enough performance from Berardi, but I’d really like to see Cooper and White play together now.

Liam Cooper – 7 – Solid from Cooper, some good passes to get moves started from the back.

Barry Douglas – 7 – His left foot is a wand at times but he was slightly sloppy in possession today, we need him at his Wolves best this season.

Kalvin Phillips – 7 – KP would have been rated higher if not for his mistake which led to Sydney’s goal, he still showed his class throughout, though.

Matuesz Bogusz – 8 – What a player we have on our hands here, only 17 years old and he stood out from the crowd. He looks a real talent and could easily be starting games this season.

Pablo Hernandez – 9 – What a man he is, honestly. He made everything happen and when nobody else (Bamford) would help him out, he decided to do it all by himself and it was beautiful.

Kemar Roofe – 7 – Roofe is pivotal to the way we play, his footwork and passing is top quality. Hopefully his injury isn’t too long-term.

Jack Harrison – 9 – Harrison was up there with Hernandez today, he put the ball on a plate for Bamford on far too many occasions without reward. Unlucky not to score himself, too.

Patrick Bamford – 4 – At this point I feel bad for him, he can’t finish to save his life currently. That miss in the second half when it fell to him in the middle of the box was embarrassing.

  1. Enjoyed the game.
The downside was, like last season, our finishing.
Instead of going in 3-0 at half time, killing off the game, it was the dreaded 1-0.
Last season we kept too many teams in the game, that we should have destroyed.
Losing some of those games, in the end, to inferior teams like Sheff U!!
    Bamford will come good!! Please!!
