Well, that performance was about as good as they come at this level. A throwback to the start of last season where we looked unstoppable and that’s without even getting out of third gear. Some simply wonderful football.
Kiko Casilla – 7 – Didn’t really have to do much at all but was solid when called upon.
Stuart Dallas – 9 – Like prime Cafu at the moment is Dallas, brilliant in defence and what a finish for his goal.
Ben White – 9 – Running out of words to describe Ben White really. What a signing, what a player. He’s so calm on the ball it’s as if he doesn’t even have a heartbeat.
Gaetano Berardi – 8 – The news that Cooper was out did give me the fear, but Berardi did a brilliant job of making us forget all about our missing captain. Calm under pressure throughout, lead by example.
Gjanni Alioski – 9 – We really did see prime Bielsaball today, fullbacks higher up than most team’s wingers. There’s a good debate to be had as to whether Alioski’s goal or Dallas’ was the better of the two.
Kalvin Phillips – 7 – Phillips played slightly deeper than usual due to Cooper’s absence so that made him have a slightly quieter game than we’re used to. It was by no means a bad performance though, he was extremely solid.
Adam Forshaw – 8 – Would have had a 9 if he scored his first goal for Leeds. Will it ever come? It’s looking unlikely.
Matuesz Klich – 8 – Some brilliant link-up play today, his running off the ball is vastly underrated.
Pablo Hernandez – 8 – Slightly slow start to the game but then we saw vintage Pablo, playing an absolutely beautiful ball first time to Dallas for his goal.
Jack Harrison – 7 – All the effort in the world, his first touch is wonderful, but his final ball was lacking throughout today.
Patrick Bamford – 9 – Led the line wonderfully, his movement throughout was excellent and his ball to Alioski matched that. Took his goal nicely too.
