All Leeds have to do is win the game to be top of the pile once again. Of course that wasn’t going to happen, this is Leeds we’re talking about. There were some absolutely embarrassing performances.
Kiko Casilla – 9 – Kept Leeds in the game, the only player who shouldn’t be ashamed of himself, really.
Into the defence…
Luke Ayling – 4 – All he really did was fall on top of the ball and win freekicks.
Stuart Dallas – 6 – Dallas was actually an upgrade on Ayling, brilliant run and shot which should have been turned in by Bamford.
Pontus Jansson – 4 – Switched off for the QPR goal and that’s all it took.
Liam Cooper – 6 – Solid enough performance from Cooper, game changed slightly when he had to go get stitches but obviously that wasn’t his fault.
Gjanni Alioski – 4 – A wild shot from a crossing position and a whole load of nothing from Gjanni tonight.
Barry Douglas – 2 – Had a brilliant chance on his supposedly strong left foot, blazed it over. Where is the Wolves version of Douglas?
Into the midfield…
Kalvin Phillips – 6 – Quieter performance from KP but by no means the reason we lost the game, very strange substitution to replace him with Douglas.
Matuesz Klich – 3 – Klich played like a headless chicken for large periods of the game, he was extremely wasteful with the ball tonight.
Tyler Roberts – 3 – Lost the ball in the buildup for the QPR goal and looked like he wasn’t bothered all night, a really strange performance after a good showing against Bolton.
Into the attack…
Pablo Hernandez – 6 – Everything good came through Pablo in the first half, unfortunately we have a team unable to finish a chance and even Hernandez faded in the second half.
Jack Harrison – 2 – Almost invisible tonight, we miss Jack Clarke a ridiculous amount.
Patrick Bamford – 4 – I really thought Bamford was going to replace Roofe and be clinical but that couldn’t be further from the truth, I can’t believe he didn’t finish that header late on.
