Leeds ended the season with a surprisingly good performance without Pablo Hernandez in the country. It’s hard to take too much from a meaningless game like this but many have called for 4-3-3 so it’s not too surprising to see an improvement in performance when Heck has finally implemented it. For the last time this season, into the ratings…

Bailey Peacock-Farrell – 8 – Didn’t have too much to do today but he finally gets his first clean sheet, a good moment for him.

Into the defence…

Luke Ayling –8 – You’d have hardly known he’d been away the way he fit straight back in and looked like one of our best players.

Pontus Jansson – 6 – QPR didn’t threaten at all in the first half, but that was the last we saw of him, subbed off at half-time.

Liam Cooper – 7 – Even with Matt Smith upfront, there won’t be too many easier days for a centre-back.

Tom Pearce – 9 – Possibly the MOTM today, brilliant defensively and going forward. Summed up well by his block for a corner when QPR were looking dangerous late on. Give the man a contract!

Into the midfield…

Ronaldo Vieira – 8 – A strong performance from Vieira today, he was all over the pitch and didn’t let the QPR players have a moment’s peace.

Kalvin Phillips – 8 – Another goal and another assist for Kalvin, who has had a strong end to the season. The midfield completely dominated today, for the first time in recent memory.

Adam Forshaw – 8 – 4-3-3 meant Forshaw could be added to the midfield and that worked as well as expected, Forshaw played like a leader today.

Into the attack…

Gjanni Alioski – 6 – Never lacking in effort but definitely lacking in quality, should have scored from 2 yards out today.

Kemar Roofe – 7 – Another great finish for Roofe who finishes the season on 14 goals, which is a very decent achievement in this team.

Caleb Ekuban – 4 – Was he even playing? A massive waste of a place today.

It was great to see Ryan Edmondson make his debut at the age of 16, he was a deflection away from scoring too.

Finally the season has come for a close, let us know what you thought of the season-closer today!
