For so long the game tonight was looking like a replica of many Leeds games over the last year and a half, Leeds dominate, Leeds miss chances and Leeds go home disappointed. Luckily, it ended on a positive note, but it was still a frustrating night.

Kiko Casilla – 6 – Didn’t have too much to do, probably should have come out for the goal and cleared it like he usually does.

Luke Ayling – 6 – Quite an average night for Ayling I thought, very sloppy on the ball.

Ben White – 8 – As good as ever, so calm and composed at all times, could only have been improved by finishing his chance (which may or may not have been bizarrely given offside)

Gaetano Berardi – 7 – Steady performance from Gaetano, especially good in the air against bigger opponents.

Kalvin Phillips – 8 – Other than lunging in too aggressively in the buildup to PNE’s goal, it was vintage Kalvin tonight. Brilliant to watch.

Stuart Dallas – 6 – It’s clear to see at times that Dallas really isn’t a central midfielder, but he’s doing a job for the team and it’s hard to fault him.

Matuesz Klich – 6 – Invisible for periods of the match today, would be tempted to play him further back and start Roberts at number 10.

Helder Costa – 7 – I’ve seen mixed opinions on Costa tonight but I thought it was one of his better games, he was pacey and direct on the ball and even put one on a plate for Bamford to…. miss.

Jack Harrison – 8 – One of the best players on the pitch tonight, he gave his fullback a horrendous time and picked up another assist.

Patrick Bamford – 5 – If Bamford isn’t dropped on the back of tonight, he never will be. His finishing is appalling and in the second half especially, he was terrible all over.

Tyler Roberts – 7 – Brought a spark to the team that we’ve missed ever since last season, would be tempted to start him against Sheffield Wednesday.

Eddie Nketiah – 9 – It’s time Bielsa, Eddie has to start on Saturday. All the man does is score goals, what a beautiful header that was tonight. It looked even better after two poor headers from Bamford.
