Well that was… less than ideal. Obviously it wasn’t an easy situation playing with 10 men but there’s no way we should have lost that game even after the red card. Into the ratings…

Bailey Peacock-Farrell – 4 – One excellent save, other than that not a lot to shout about. Even the first goal which don’t get me wrong was Forshaw’s fault, but BPF should be racing off his line and hitting that into Row Z. We desperately need a new keeper.

Into the defence…

Luke Ayling – 4 – Has Luke Ayling been cloned and replaced by someone who’s never kicked a ball before? His passing is so sloppy it’s unbelievable. Shackleton should never have been dropped.

Pontus Jansson – 7 – Despite the poor defending in general, Jansson still had a solid game, putting Alioski’s goal on a plate for him.

Kalvin Phillips – 1 – Was playing fine until his reckless tackle, but you can’t be doing that.

Barry Douglas – 5 – A few decent passes and a freekick that almost was, but on the whole it wasn’t good enough from him today.

Into the midfield…

Adam Forshaw – 1 – Kalvin Phillips may have been sent off but for me at least, Forshaw was even worse. Every pass was to a red shirt, including the great assist for Forest’s opener. When will enough be enough? Forshaw has been poor for weeks.

Matuesz Klich – 5 – Invisible for large parts, came to life in Leeds’ brief comeback but nowhere near effective enough today.

Pablo Hernandez – 6 – Even Hernandez had more misplaced passes than usual today. His ball in for Alioski’s goal was beautiful, though.

Into the attack…

Jack Harrison – 7 – Harrison had one of his best games in a Leeds shirt today, which made it extremely surprising when he was taken off.

Jack Clarke – 9 – In saying that, Clarke was excellent today. He took his goal extremely well and was so close with a wonderful effort on his left foot.

Gjanni Alioski – 7 – Another decent game from Alioski, his first good game on the left side for quite some time. Couldn’t miss for the goal.

Kemar Roofe – 4 – Roofe has been excellent this season but he wasn’t on it today, if Bamford was playing today, we draw this game 4-4.

It goes without saying that Bielsa is a genius and he knows best, but there were some strange decisions made today. We should rest the first team for the FA Cup game, getting knocked out would be an excelle

Let us know what you thought of the game today, what needs to change?

  1. I agree, we need a keeper. He should and could have smothered that ball today for the first goal. Made a big mistake for the third goal, came and then backed back. Total hesitation. He has a lot to learn.Making mistakes in every game. I’m sick of saying this, AYLING IS NOT FIT TO WEAR THE SHIRT. He wouldn’t get on any other team in the top ten in the championship He is a liability. How many times did he give the ball away again today???. Forshaw and Klich need to sit on the bench for a few weeks. Klich started the season so well but now he is back to square one.We need new blood. We will struggle with what we have to see us over the line. We need Cooper and Bamford fully fit. Jannson can’t do it all on his own. Clarke was excellent today. Looks like he will score every week. Frightens defenders when he takes the ball into the box.Klich and Forshaw wont get you as many goals as Clarke.Pablo and Roofe need a rest. Make 11 changes for the cup Marcelo. You are sticking to the same team week in week out and they are so tired. Halme should be given a chance. Shackleton on for the worst right full in the championship, Ayling. Get KP back in to midfield after his suspension.

    11 to start against Derby.

    A new keeper(anyone)
    Shackleton
    Jansson
Halme ( until Coops comes back.)
    Douglas
    Klich (until Phillips comes back)
    Clarke
    Pablo
    Alioski
    Harrison
    Roofe or Bamford

Yes the cracks are appearing, but thankfully all around us are dropping points also.

    M.O.T!!!!!!!!!
