WOW. What a game we’ve just witnessed at Elland Road. According to research done by much smarter people than me, the human body can experience up to 27 different emotions. Everyone at Elland Road experienced all of those today. In this exact fixture last year, Leeds bottled it after making a comeback. This team, however, are a different breed.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell – 6 – Made a great save early on, had little else to do other than pick the ball out of his own net. Decided he wanted to go for a stroll to the left back position for reasons unknown, too.

Into the defence…

Luke Ayling – 8 – A bit slow to start, but came into the game and played the game we all know he’s capable of, with a wonderful assist for our first goal and an even better header to bring us back on level terms.

Pontus Jansson – 6 – Looked a bit below par from his usual standards and Leeds did improve after he went off, although that wasn’t the reason why.

Liam Cooper – 6 – Terrible tackle to give away the penalty but that could all have been avoided if Douglas didn’t have a nightmare.

Gjanni Alioski – 5 – Got exposed one too many times for Bielsa’s liking in the first half, not his day.

Barry Douglas – 7 – Extremely sloppy for Millwall’s 2nd goal but linked up well with Harrison on the left side and put a great ball in for Ayling’s equaliser. Seemed to be limping pretty heavily throughout too.

Into the midfield…

Kalvin Phillips – 8 – Another top game from KP, he seems to go into autopilot when we’re in trouble and gets us out of bother with ease. Filled in nicely at CB and won more headers than his height warrants.

Matuesz Klich – 6 – A very quiet performance from Klich today, never really in the thick of things.

Tyler Roberts – 8 – Consistently making intelligent runs in behind and linking up well with those around him, we’ve got ourselves a quality number 10.

Into the attack…

Pablo Hernandez – 10 – I saw Phil Hay didn’t give Pablo a 10 but how could we starve him of what he deserves. He dragged that team through that game much like Strachan did in 89/90. I’ve not seen someone put a Leeds team on their back like that for a very long time.

Jack Harrison – 7 – A few poor decisions with his final ball but grew into the game and was very effective with Douglas behind him, he’s progressing well as the season grows older.

Patrick Bamford – 1 – Is this a harsh rating? No. Bamford had probably the worst game of his career, he looks like he’s running in treacle and struggles to get off the ground. Horrific penalty and freekick, too.

Let us know what you thought of the game today, should Roofe return straight away if fit?
