After the Villa game I had quite a lot of confidence going into the playoffs. After today I couldn’t be be less optimistic. That is Leeds all over, really.

Kiko Casilla – 0 – There isn’t many words for Kiko’s performance today that are allowed on here, he was absolutely terrible. Not quite a confidence boost heading into the playoffs.

Luke Ayling – 7 –A slow start but really grew into the game and played a great pass to Klich for his goal. He may have ruined his performance slightly by making an absolute mess along with Kiko at the end of the game to cost us

Pontus Jansson – 6 – Pontus has been losing his head far too easily recently and his play isn’t exactly backing up the attitude. Needs to get a grip in time for the playoffs.

Liam Cooper – 6 – Should have done better with a chance that fell to him from a corner, other than that a pretty average day for Cooper.

Stuart Dallas – 7 – Pretty good going forward, not so strong defensively. Will probably start in the playoffs.

Kalvin Phillips – 7 – Decent enough game for Phillips, his rating is improved by the fact his set pieces are miles ahead of Pablo’s at the minute.

Adam Forshaw – 6 – Good pass to Ayling for our first goal but other than that was largely a passenger.

Mateusz Klich – 8 – Great finish for the goal, it has to be considered at this point, why is Klich not taking penalties? Before he came to Leeds he was a regular taker and we clearly aren’t blessed with options.

Pablo Hernandez – 4 –I’m not sure Pablo has passed to a Leeds player in the last month. We really need him to step up now.

Jack Harrison – 3 – How Harrison continues to play 90 minutes I will never know, he surely can’t start in the playoffs?

Kemar Roofe – 2- We needed Roofe to build confidence going into the playoffs and instead he misses a sitter and takes one of the worst penalties I’ve ever seen. Excellent.

Let us know what needs to happen for Leeds to win the playoffs (other than a miracle)

  1. What on Earth’s going on, last 3 penalties missed … Pablo Hernández, Patrick Bamford, and now, Kemar Roofe. I agree, give the ball to Mateusz Klich, or anyone else prepared to put their laces through the ball, ala Peter Lorimer ,,, there’s no point complaining that we are not awarded penalties when we throw away opportunities to score when they are given.

It’s unusual for me to agree with all the ratings given on this site, but I agree all the way through, and, I still don’t understand how Jack Harrison manages to get a start every game, I only hope that Tyler Robertsis fit to play next week … he, at least is not afraid to take players on and run at defenders. The less that’s said about the cock-up between Luke Ayling and Kiko Casilla for the winning goal, the better.

  2. They need a rocket up their ****s! I just pray they can muster some enthusiasm and energy for the play-offs. It would be Derby, wouldn’t it? The lads have to play against them like they did during the season. Nothing less will do! Pleeeease don’t let this season end on an embarrassing defeat. Bielsa and the fans don’t deserve that!
