Definitely not the friendliest of friendlies, that’s for sure. A continuation of the games in Australia for the most part, some good, some not so good.

Kiko Casilla – 7 – Made a few good saves, can’t really blame him too much for the goal either.

Gaetano Berardi – 7 – Solid enough defensively but it shows how much we miss Ayling and even Dallas going forward.

Liam Cooper – 5 – Nowhere near for the goal and also lost his man in the second half for what should have been a winning goal.

Ben White – 8 – Very comfortable on the ball, definitely suits Bielsa’s style of play and system.

Leif Davis – 5 – A pretty poor performance overall from Davis, not that you could tell with Bielsa shouting “VERY GOOD” at him every two minutes. Sloppy on the ball and some poor decision-making.

Kalvin Phillips – 9 – Despite his red card that should never have been a red card, KP was MOTM for Leeds today. A great range of passing and vital interceptions. Unlucky not to score from range, too.

Adam Forshaw – 5 – Went missing for large parts of the game, we really miss a player like Saiz in the middle to drive the team forward at times.

Mateusz Klich – 7 – Some nice touches on the ball in and around the edge of the area, looks like he’ll be picking up where he left off last season.

Pablo Hernandez – 8 – Pablo was typical Pablo, a step ahead of the others for large parts of the game and a wonderfully taken penalty.

Helder Costa – 7 – Blistering pace and some dangerous balls into the box, he’ll be exciting to watch this season.

Patrick Bamford – 6 – Missed a couple of half chances which would have been nice for him to take leading into the season opener, some nice buildup play though.
