It seems Leeds United are not the only side interested in bringing Aberdeen right-back Calvin Ramsay to the Premier League this season.

That’s after TalkSport reporter Alex Crook revealed that Watford are also taking an interest in the 18-year-old.

Throughout the January window, both Leeds and Serie A side Bologna have been linked with a potential move for Ramsay, following his breakthrough at Pittodrie.

Recent reports had suggested that Leeds were leading the way to sign the teenager, due to the fact that Bologna were reluctant to include the option to buy in a loan deal for the defender.

Now however, it seems that Leeds may still have competition from elsewhere, if they are to secure the services of the full-back.

According to this latest update, Watford have now also entered the race to sign Ramsay, as they look to bolster their own squad in the final hours of the January transfer window.

To date, Ramsay has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Aberdeen, providing four assists in that time.

This certainly looks like being one to keep an eye on over the course of today.

Given he already has a decent amount of senior experience from his time in Scotland, you feel Ramsay could be a useful back up for Luke Ayling on the right hand side of Leeds’ defence.

Obviously, that does not really feel like the main priority for the club at the minute, when you consider their issues in midfield and attack.

But this is one they might not want to miss out on even so, particularly if it is to another side battling relegation from the Premier League, such as Watford.
